Ladies' Summer League 2008 |

Following last year's
very successful Summer Ladies' League, we have now organised the event
for this summer. The fixtures have now been arranged and are
listed on this website. Results will be posted here as they become
available. |

Annual General Meeting |

| This year's AGM
was held on Saturday 26th April at 1.30pm. Information about the meeting
is available here including proposals from the committee and members. We
hope to post a set of voting results and a draft set of minutes here
shortly. |

Reunion |

| A reunion for old
members of Fry's Hockey Club is to be held at Fry Club on October 10th.
Jo Bush is organising this event and
would welcome any former members contacting her. |

Avon County Junior Hockey |
|
Well done to Kirsten
Fleck, Caitlin Buick, Rosie Stonehouse and Roberta Fowler who attended
the Avon County U17 Hockey trials at Clifton College on Friday 29th
February. Kirsten Fleck was deservedly picked as one of a handful
of girls invited to join the existing Avon squad - many congratulations
to her for this recognition of her talents.
Nat Mead also attended the U15 trials on Friday 14th March. |

February. Fry's Club's fantastic live band

Active
Fitness Offer |

 Club members now
have the chance to benefit from reduced price membership at
Longwell Green Leisure Centre. As long as we get more than 10
members you can join on an Active Total membership for£24.75 as an
individual (£40.75 a couple) per month.
This entitles you to the gym and swimming pool at
Longwell Green - plus fitness classes, as well as the gym and swimming, at
the other leisure centres in South Gloucestershire (Kingswood, Bradley
Stoke, Yate and Thornbury). This discount is around £10 a month cheaper than
the advertised price to members of the public. If you're interested please
complete the form and send them to
Karen Tape who will co-ordinate for us.
