| Fry's Hockey Club is located at the
recently constructed built artificial
turf pitch at
Wellsway School. The pitch was
funded by a National Lottery Grant and continues to be greatly welcomed by
the local sporting community. By road, you can approach Bristol from the west and east via the M4 and M32 motorways, or from the north and south-west via the M5 motorway and then onto the M4 just north of Bristol. Leave the M4 at junction 19 and turn onto the M32. Immediately leave the M32 at junction 1 and follow the A4174 ring-road around Bristol. At the end of the ring-road, turn left, taking the A4 signposted for Bath along the Keynsham by-pass. At the end of the bypass is a roundabout. Take the third exit back towards Keynsham (as indicated on the map). Just before the petrol station, turn left into Chandag Road. Wellsway is a few hundred metres up on the left.
From the south, you can use the A37 before turning onto the A39. From the south-east, Keynsham can be approached using the A36 through Bath. There is ample parking on-site for players and officials during weekends and weekday evenings. Visitors to Wellsway should enter via the entrance on Chandag Road nearest to Bath Road. |
